- Describe your creative piece – what is it and what has it been used for, and why is it innovative?
- This was a piece that we used to showcase our work in Dominican Republic. We went there build a facility for town in San Pedro de Marcos. I took the photo as one of our works was heading to the job site. It shows the importance of being on the ground and not just sending money.
- What issue or problem were you working to address with this piece?
- The need for action and not just or monetary support. We were determined to make a different for a town that has very little. So we provided the money and the man-power. The individuals that give 10 days of their lives to make a difference also paid for the build project.
- How has your submission successfully impacted your organization’s ability to solve this issue/problem?
- We are now able to support work with funds and hands or boots. We were the solution to their problem. We made it happen and the people from the Dominican Republic are the ones who will benefit for years to come.
