- Thanks to Dreamweaver, our redesigned Kidpower.org website has become a tremendous teaching tool for viewers locally and all over the world. Instead of just being a promotional tool, our website is innovative in the sheer quantity and quality of the personal safety information provided.
Parents, teachers, and other caring adults have told us how they have been able to use this information to protect their children from harm, to build better relationships, and to create safer communities.
- What issue or problem were you working to address with this piece?
- Violence is one of the leading health issues of our time - whether it takes the form of bullying, sexual molestation, assault, or kidnapping, violence has a destructive impact on the lives of children, teens, and adults, especially those with special needs.
Also, people are hungry for skills in how to build positive relationships, advocate effectively for themselves and others, and become powerful, respectful leaders.
- How has your submission successfully impacted your organization’s ability to solve this issue/problem?
- Our website is giving hundreds of people daily valuable information about how to protect themselves and their loved ones, build their confidence, and increase their safety.
We receive reports all the time about how the information that people were able to access through our site has greatly improved the quality of their lives and their ability to support the development of the children and teens in their care.
